The run portion of the race is a challenging two-lap run around the lake, where spectators cheer on the racers as they tackle difficult hill sections on each lap of the run. The run starts off with a up hill climb on the campground road to a trail that brings you to the joint bike/run course to run down the single track to the other campground road. A short run on this road to get back on the trail to the opposite side (SW) of the lake. Here you run along the lake shore to the dam. At the dam you will go down below the dam and cross the creek to climb up the hill at the NE side of the lake. Cross the hill to descend back down to the lake shore to run by the finish line and transition area off to complete the second lap. See map below
